About

Hi, my name is Yumiko English. I'm the owner, operator and creator of Timeless Japan. I was born and raised in Sapporo, Hokkaido, a treasured adventure travel location. I enjoyed growing up as a competitive skier and coach, in world-class snow and ski resorts. I became an international and Japan domestic Tour Guide in my early 20's. It was a dream job, leading groups to over 40 countries and tourist locations all over japan. 

After moving to Calgary and raising a family, I stayed involved in travel as an airline customer service agent, Japanese translator for a major online travel agency, and organizing memorable family trips. I have intimate knowledge, contacts, and a deep understanding of Japan travel. 

My passion for travel is endless, and I truly enjoy discussing and organizing exceptional trips. I'm here to make your Japanese adventure truly special!

Perfect for independent/small family traveller groups who want full guidance and booking support. Typically 3 locations and up to 12 days, including travel days.

A more detailed experience or extended stays. Full booking support​ or more involved travel requirements including all the Sakura package and:

As an independent advisor, there are times when I must limit the number of clients. This is to provide full attention and quality to current clients' travel plans. I am currently accepting clients for 2027 travel after January 5th. If you are planning to travel then, I would love to hear from you to start the process. I am at capacity for new client trips in 2026 and unable to accommodate your travels.
